Who is Tilda Fabrics?

Tilda products are designed by Tone Finnanger. Tone is the founder and owner of Tilda and Tilda Fabrics.  Tone started Tilda in 1999 when she was only 25 years old and has been working with the brand ever since. Tilda is now a known and loved brand among crafters throughout the world. Tone is based in Norway with her Tilda Fabrics team.

Tilda Fabrics present four new Tilda collections each year; spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each collection contains a series of new quilt fabrics, and haberdashery such as patterns, buttons, ribbons and quilt labels. In addition, they produce pre-made Tilda dolls under the brand Tilda Friends.

Consumers will find Tilda products online and in quality craft and quilt shops around the world.

Who is Devonstone Square?

Devonstone Square is the new distributor of Tilda Fabrics for the United States of America. We are a new player in the USA market, although we come from many years of experience in distributing Patchwork and Quilting fabrics internationally.

Can I purchase fabric directly from Devonstone Square?

Devonstone Square is a wholesale distributor of Tilda Fabrics. We sell only to high-quality fabric shops, online shops, and manufacturers. Contact us at  with any questions. 

Are Tilda Fabrics intended for sleepwear?

Tilda Fabrics are not flame-proof and are not intended for sleepwear. If you want to use Tilda Fabrics as sleepwear, you must add a flame retardant finish before use.

How do I become a wholesale customer of Devonstone Square for Tilda Fabrics?

To become a wholesale customer simply complete our New Account Form (find here) and email it along with your opening order (minimum 16 bolts of fabric) to

Please note the following:

  •         We cannot set up your account unless we have both your initial order AND the new account form filled out completely. 
  •         All new accounts are credit card terms only
  •         You will be eligible to place additional orders for fewer than 16 bolts of fabric following your first order.
  •         It’s our objective to have Tilda stockists who carry the full collection. Those retailers who stock the full collection will be listed as “Tilda Stockists” they are our first point of redirection to consumers.

How do I gain access to the Devonstone Square website?

Once we receive your application form we will provide you with limited access to the website until your first order is processed.

What is the minimum opening order?

We ask that your first order with us has a minimum of at least $500 plus shipping.

Do you offer pattern inspiration and free patterns to make?

When will my order ship to me?

If your fabric is currently in-stock and available, our fabric will ship to you within 72 business hours, assuming we have proper payment information on file for your account. For orders placed on fabrics for future deliveries, we deliver one week prior to the official launch date. Tilda Fabrics have strict guidelines regarding new fabric collection launches; each collection is launched internationally on the same day.

What is the freight system?

We offer a ground service freight system. Freight costs will be added to your order; details will be shown on your invoice.

Where do your fabrics ship from?
All orders ship from our warehouse in Charlotte, NC

What is your policy on returns?

We do our best to ensure that your order is shipped correctly; if we have made an error in fulfilling your order please contact us within 7 days of receipt of goods at No credit claims will be honoured without the prior approval by Devonstone Square.

If you need to make a return, you must receive a Return for Credit Order Confirmation (RFC#) from Customer Service and promptly return the product(s).

Return freight will be at the expense of the customer unless prior arrangements have been made with Devonstone Square.  

All goods must be returned in saleable condition. We cannot accept returns if the fabric has been removed from its plastic wrapping, or if fabric has been cut from the bolt.

Any unauthorized return is not guaranteed to be credited. All unauthorized returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

All returns must be made within 2 weeks of goods having been received.

How do I become a “Tilda Stockist”?

Simply purchase a “range deal” of the latest Tilda collection. What is a range deal? A range deal is one bolt of each fabric from the latest collection. Your store will be listed as a “Tilda Stockist” on our website and will be the first point of redirection for consumers who contact our customer service team.

I’ve heard Tilda Fabrics have strict guidelines for their stockists.

Yes, Tilda Fabrics provide all retailers with an even playing field. They have strict guidelines and specified launch dates regarding the pre-sell of fabrics, launch of images, and on show dates for new collections. It’s actually really exciting as everyone worldwide launches on the same day. There is lots of excitement leading up to each launch.

Where do l download images for display in my store or website?
